Roskosmos plans to develop Arktika-MP satellites with multiple spectral channels providing higher spatial image resolution. This will allow us to better study the North Pole and monitor the polar regions of the planet.
“Development of next-generation Arktika-MP devices is scheduled to begin in 2026,” the state agency said in a statement.
