Account verification is now available for residents of Australia and New Zealand. Soon, users from other countries will also be able to broadcast it. Zuckerberg did not provide other details.

  • The microblogging service Twitter launched paid verification for its Blue subscription in November 2022. However, it soon suspended its registration due to an influx of spam accounts.
  • In December of that year, the company relaunched the Blue subscription. It costs $11 a month for those who pay for it on iOS, $8 for everyone else.
