Saudi Arabia has implemented several large-scale recent architectural projects at once. But Prince Mohammed bin Salman puts new challenges before the engineers. This year, he plans to build another skyscraper in Er-October that claims to stay with him. On budget, it is made in the form of a giant cube from a quarter of a mile away. He received the name MukaAB, although his future has not yet begun.
This facility is reported to have discovered more than 2 million square meters of living space. Literally, almost the entire neighborhood will be located here, from tourist attractions and branded hotels to adjacent territories and offices of adjacent companies. But the fantasy of Mukaab is not only in dimensions and areas. The designer proposes to make it visible for immersion in digital and virtual worlds.
Inside, several completely different holographic worlds will be created. Getting here, a person in an instant will be on Mars, deep under water or in the distant future. In fact, this is definitely a virtual planetarium. One of the projects that was created turned out to be not safe, and “green” is not unimportant, as far as the environmental budget is concerned. According to the schedule, Muqaab’s cubic skyscraper should be completed by 2030.
