Return to the revision of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and act in the Russian jurisdiction: what Putin called Russian companies

What Putin said about Russian companies and what he asked domestic companies to do:

• The President called for a return to the revision of the Penal Code regarding the economic elements of the crimes. According to him, “permissiveness should not be allowed, but neither should we go too far.”

• Putin also called for offshoring, saying the companies must operate in Russian jurisdiction. He called it the basic principle.

• The head of state said that if companies buy domestic IT solutions, they can receive a tax deduction.

• The President also criticized the businessmen who kept wealth in the West and lost it all due to sanctions: “None of the common citizens took pity on those who lost their yachts and palaces abroad. And in kitchen conversations, people remembered both privatization and ostentatious luxury.”

• He also addressed business with the words that “the sources of well-being and the future should be only here, in your native country.”
