Finnish game developer Rovio decided delete February 23 classic version of the Angry Birds game on Google Play. The company felt that it had a negative impact on other games, including the Angry Birds universe. Previously downloaded games will be available on Android devices after they are removed from Google Play.

The cult game Angry Birds will be removed from Google Play

iPhone users are a little luckier: the game will be left on the App Store for further consideration under a new name: Red’s First Flight.

The first version of Angry Birds was released 14 years ago -in 2009- for iPhone, then there were versions of the application for browsers and Android.
