The slow pace of Windows 11 installs is Microsoft’s increasingly aggressively promote upgrading to a new version of the system. But ironically, this disclosure began to reach computers that are not compatible with the systemin fullscreen windows which almost “forces” an installation.

One of the biggest reasons why Windows 11 adoption is so slow is because of the large number of computers that are incompatible with the system’s hardware recommendations, especially the TPM 2.0 security protocol. Computers that can’t even upgrade technically anymore show the following screen:

The ad has been showing on compatible PCs for some time now and is considered a bit aggressive. In addition to taking up the entire screen, it offers only two options on the highlighted buttons, which basically means install now or install later. So, “yes” or “yes”. The option not to install is much more discreet, with “Keep Windows 10” in the bottom white bar.

Users who click not to install are bound to see another screen saying Microsoft is recommending Windows 11 for their incompatible PC.

The ad insists once again to install Windows 11 when rejected.

What happens if I click yes?

If you’re using an incompatible computer and get one of the Windows 11 promotional screens, there’s no point in clicking install. These ads may be a glitch by Microsoft and the installation will not work from them. During the process, the system detects that the PC is incompatible and stops.

However, there are ways to bypass system requirements detection for Windows 11 and upgrade successfully. Alternatively, you can try unofficial customized versions of the system such as Tiny11.
