There is an opinion that water, boiled several times, becomes undrinkable. Allegedly, it contains harmful compounds. Scientists decided to disprove this myth.

They boiled 15 liters of water 18 times until it had completely evaporated. After each boil, the scientists cooled the water and tested it for drinkability. Especially iron, magnesium, copper, selenium, chlorine and other elements in its content. They checked the taste characteristics of the water and the scent, as well as the presence of E. coli. As a result, no deviations were found. Scientists have repeatedly concluded that boiling water can be drunk.
