Previously, rumors were circulating that Xiaomi’s first car would be the sedan, which will be produced in two versions. Xiaomi is reportedly working heavily on Modena with over 2,300 R&D staff. The company’s first car is expected to go into mass production in 2024.
In September 2022, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that the machine has rolled off the assembly line as planned and winter testing is scheduled for December.
