The popularity of ChatGPT and Midjourney caused a multiplicity of Russian neural network users. Tele2 conducted a study and found that the number of such users in Russia in the first two months of 2023 increased fivefold.
Tele2 carried out an investigation between platforms where artificial intelligence creates various types of content: images, music, texts. In January and February this year, the number of users of neural networks powered by artificial intelligence increased fivefold, the telecom operator said.
The vast majority (73%) of neural network visitors use Android smartphones, 22% use iOS devices. About a third of neural network users, both men and women, are 31-40 year olds.
Neural networks that create music are more interested in men from the Sverdlovsk region and women from the Novosibirsk region. Women from the Krasnodar Territory and men from the Murmansk region give preference to neural networks that generate texts. Men from the Nizhny Novgorod region and women from the Krasnoyarsk Territory prefer AI services that create images.
