In Russia, sales of Moskvich 3 crossovers and Moskvich 3e electric vehicles begin; Starting March 3, the cars can be bought at one of the country’s 52 dealerships, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

He recalled that 52 points have been opened in 23 Russian cities for the sale of the model, and in the near future they will be issued in the style of the brand’s design. Sobyanin also noted that specialists in the dealer network pay special attention to working with electric vehicles during the training process.

The cost of “Moskvich 3” starts from 1.97 million rubles, the price of an electric car is 3.5 million rubles.

The cars are assembled on the premises of the former Renault plant in Moscow, which had previously passed into state ownership. The assembly began at the end of November. According to the mayor of the capital, last year the company manufactured 600 vehicles, 200 of which were electric. The plant’s plans for 2023 are another 50,000 vehicles.

Earlier it became known that the company will supply cars for taxis and car sharing to Yandex parks.
