Rosfinmonitoring has developed and published for public discussion a bill that proposes to set a transfer threshold of 100,000 rubles for transfers without opening a bank account. Last summer, the ministry offered an amount of 60 thousand rubles, market participants – 600 thousand rubles.
The bill should help combat illegal financial transactions, bank fraud, terrorist financing and extremism by increasing the transparency of relevant transactions for competent authorities.
The data about the recipient will be established by the bank based on the information provided by the client, or filled out independently, in the absence of the necessary information, the funds will have to be returned to the payer.
