Kommersant reports that major telecom operators have begun shutting down small operations that have not implemented Roskomnadzor’s Antifraud system for call detection.
This is due to the fact that many small operators miss calls from substitution numbers, and subscribers of large market participants, received calls, become victims of phone calls.
Roskomnadzor reported that operators independently decide on connecting external companies to their infrastructure.
The Antifraud system was launched by Roskomnadzor at the end of January. According to the Communications Act, all operators must connect to it. This is expected to happen before March 2024. [Коммерсантъ]
