The Chinese brand of home appliances ChiQ is entering the Russian market, Izvestia was informed about it at Marvel Distribution, which will handle deliveries.
The ChiQ brand is owned by Changhong-Meiling. Earlier, the manufacturer presented a refrigerator that can fight the coronavirus. Washing machines, freezers and refrigerators will be imported into Russia. The range includes models of the entry-level and middle price segment.
In the Chinese market, the brand is among the top 5 manufacturers of home appliances. In the Russian Federation, the company will supply 4,000 pieces of equipment every quarter. It will be possible to buy devices at the Vsyosmart retailer and in some markets.
The cost of refrigerators starts from 33 thousand rubles, a ChiQ freezer can be bought for 15 thousand rubles and more. And the price of washing machines starts from 20 thousand rubles. The first devices will ship to customers on March 6.
Wildberries said they will study interest in the new brand and are ready to consider expanding the range in case of strong demand.
In March last year, the world’s largest companies, including manufacturers of electronic equipment and products, fully or partially ceased their activities in the Russian Federation due to the hostilities in Ukraine.
The vacated niche gradually began to be filled by domestic suppliers and companies from China.
