According to the National Space Development Agency, the satellite could not be launched into space due to unstable rocket engine and fuel characteristics. During launch, the satellite crashed into the Yellow Sea.

“The cause of the incident is believed to be the insufficient reliability and stability of the new engine system introduced to the Chonrima-1 transport launch vehicle, as well as the instability of the characteristics of the fuel used. Scientists, engineers and experts find the special reason, ”says KsTAK.
