The online platform for the sale of products in the field of fashion and beauty Lamoda has launched a project in which the main page of the site will be maintained by artificial intelligence for a week. This was reported to RB.RU by a company representative.

Starting March 6, Lamoda’s homepage will feature photos created with the Midjourney neural network.

Through images, the project team planned to reflect the current trends of fashion houses, combine them and get “something completely new.” The art team took current fashion trends, latest shows, cultural trends into account and created more than 50 unique AI illustrations for the Lamoda homepage.

Lamoda said that the result was a new visual range for buyers “who appreciate style and originality.” As an experiment, the brands Ecco, Love Republic, Urban Tiger, and Rinascimento joined the project.

Lamoda is an online platform that operates in Russia and the CIS and specializes in the sale of clothing and footwear. About 10 million products from four thousand sellers are presented on the site. The company was founded in 2011, from 2014 to 2022 it was part of the Global Fashion Group. In December 2022, Stockmann’s owner Yakov Panchenko bought Lamoda from Global Fashion Group, and in February transferred Lamoda’s main legal entity in Russia to the control of LM Holding.
