The study included 668 patients with type 2 diabetes. Some used an app that asks users a few questions and doesn’t offer advice.
After three months, app users had a 0.4% decrease in glycated hemoglobin levels. Moreover, this effect lasted for a long time. Some users even stopped taking insulin or were able to reduce their dose.
The app allows you to reshape your behavior to reap health benefits. A cognitive-behavioral approach is used. Participants spent less than six minutes a day on the practice.
