According to Kelly Choi, founder of online food retailer Kelly Loves, Korean red ginseng tea is essential for preventing high cholesterol and heart disease. Honey, lemon or sugar is often added to this tea because of its distinctive taste.

Most people who like red ginseng tea drink a glass in the morning. And this drink acts on the body better than a high-sugar energy drink. It’s also a good alternative to coffee if it makes you nervous.

Additionally, just one cup of Korean red ginseng tea has powerful antioxidant properties. As Choi notes, this tea is rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, ginsenosides, and other phenolic acids.

Many scientific studies have shown that Korean red ginseng tea regulates blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood sugar. Therefore, in a scientific article published in the journal Nutrients in 2020, it is stated that this type of tea lowers cholesterol and prevents the development of cardiovascular diseases.
