At an event in 2020, Musk said he is “confident” that Tesla will make a small $25,000 electric car that will be fully autonomous in about three years.
Musk said there’s an “open road” to a car that will cost half the Tesla Model 3 sedan, but didn’t elaborate on a timeline.
