Australian research from the University of South Ireland conducted a special study that revealed the identification of one of the main causes of the development of “coulrophobia” – a pathological fear of clowns. This phobia is an amazing phenomenon, that’s what happened to my eyes. According to statistics, coulrophobia persists in 5% of people – this is higher than the fear of wild animals (3.8%) or fear of sky (2.8%). People are much less afraid of blood, injections and injuries (3.0%) or flying (1.3%) than clowns.
