The entire Internet has been discussing the sensational TV series Fisher in recent days.

It is based on the real story of a past maniac who operated in the USSR. Of course, such projects have already become boring lately, but there is something in the novelty that makes her look further.

We have already rated the series and are in a hurry to share our impressions.

Welcome back to the USSR

The effect is set in the 1980s. We are told about another serial killer who is not so easy to catch.

What is the series about: 1986 In the area of the nearest dachas on the Rublevsky highway, one after the dead teenagers. Intelligent investigator Valery Kozyrev, his impudent partner from Rostov Yevgeny Bokov, a very young investigator Natalya Dobrovolskaya begins an investigation, not even suspecting how much it will change each of them.

The only witness who can identify the maniac is the schoolboy Igor, whose parents are not at all enthusiastic about his son’s competitors with the police.

In fact, the plot here is quite linear and simple in its limitations. In each episode, investigators find more evidence and reach out to the killer, and then towards the end of the series, some kind of lead comes out.

This another detective story, in which the authors collect information about the epicenter of events and the transfer of funds along with the articles of the statues. We are told about the pedophile maniac Sergei Golovkin, a criminal who was executed in Russia.

Unlike the same “Chikatilo” by Sarik Andreasyan, here the authors really arrived and correctly selected the actors. The story looks interesting and full of the smallest details. It does not look funny, as in the case of Andreasyan’s project, it is a rather complex and well-thought-out project with many aspects.

True, he cannot offer anything specific of his own. This is a standard movie about the capture of a maniac, where his image is designed in the “best” traditional genres – this is a stern man in a raincoat or suit, who walks through the woods and shreds people around and to the left, and his figure is always blurry, warming up interest for further viewing.

The Observable Manipulator shows that the creators are suspicious of True Detective and Dexter. However, for some reason, managed to go more into personal prosecutors and investigators.

Yes, almost a third of the timekeeping affects the dramas of the main characters. Bortich plays a strong and independent single mother with a difficult character, Yankovsky public as a boorish investigator, coming to spit on everyone (except his dying wife), and Yatsenko got used to the role of a domestic abuser, trying to be a shrewd colleague at work.

Even the serial killer came up with a motivation and a reason why he did it all. In fact, it is encouraging that the authors worked out all their heroes. You rarely see this now, usually we have doodles in front of us, who don’t give a damn. But here the opposite is true – you want to empathize with each character.

And the story itself is well-written. It can be a pleasant surprise if you don’t know the original events.

It’s good, but there are a couple of questions

Camera work at Fisher is my message. Periodically, the camera captures such unusual angles that you want to applaud.

The picture perfectly conveys the feelings of the characters and the general mood of the ghost. It seems that you are in the same person with a maniac, and this becomes really creepy. At the same time, you don’t even need to see it clearly, the atmosphere is getting better and better.

However, things don’t always go so well. In some places, the impression is spoiled by torn editing, which cuts off one frame and abruptly inserts another: sometimes you get lost from this and do not gather for the thoughts of the authors.

Atmosphere of the 80s restored wellbut far from ideal. As in HBO’s Chernobyl, plastic windows are regularly removed from the scene here, highlighting minor flaws. There are very few of them, but they evoke the overall impression of the picture.

As for the musical accompaniment, it is here simply normal. I can’t single out something specific, it’s negligible not to put it off in my head. But at the same time, specifically in the series, the soundtracks fit well and pay attention to sinister production.

Good series to spend time on

“Fischer” is one of the possible projects of serial killers, which is really worth paying attention to.

Yes, he has his flaws, but personally I don’t want to dwell on them. It’s far from a perfect movie, but it manages to grab his attention and keep him from beginning to end.
