The 7800X3D has 8 cores, 96MB L3 cache, 120W TDP and clocked up to 5.0 GHz. This processor was compared to the 24-core Core i9-13900K, Intel’s second best Raptor Lake desktop processor. It is important to note that both the 7800X3D and 13900K systems are equipped with the same DDR5-6000 memory kit.

1080p performance tested in Rainbow Six Siege, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn. As a result, the 7800X3D is 13-24% faster than the Core i9-13900K. On average you can expect a performance increase of 19.5%, but keep in mind that these are results provided by AMD itself and final performance may vary.
