Apple decided to patent the technology to control all smart home devices with a wave of the hand. One device will recognize the gesture and relay the command to other devices.
Information about Apple’s technology is found in an application filed by the company with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
An American corporation wants to patent the technology to control multiple devices using gestures. From the application it follows that the entire smart home can be turned on or off with a wave of the hand.
The user’s gesture will recognize the so-called main device. It can be, for example, an Apple Watch or any other device with sensors and a camera to send commands to all smart home devices.
In 2021, Apple received patents for connecting an external flash to devices via a wired and wireless interface, as well as for a virtual keyboard that can be placed on any surface.
