Koo, a Twitter competitor booming in Brazil, announced a new feature to rekindle people’s interest in the platform: Integration with ChatGPT. The social network will use the most talked about artificial intelligence (AI) tool right now to help its users create posts and content.
As the example below shows, users will be able to ask ChatGPT to write for them and then post. But the AI won’t just serve to create posts in place of humans – users will also be able to request tips and write their own text.
“They can ask ChatGPT about breaking news in their area and then write what they think,” said Mayank Bidawatka, one of Koo’s co-founders. It will be possible to ask your questions to the service by typing or voice commands.. In addition to helping with posting or creating posts, the tool also suggests relevant hashtags.
With a few big companies betting on chat AI like Google with Bard and Microsoft with ChatGPT, Koo wants to be the first social network to integrate resource into the creation of posts. The tool will reach verified accounts first, then all users.
How to distinguish posts?
With the rapid growth and popularization of AI tools like ChatGPT, the debate about the ethics of this type of post creation has not kept up with the number of companies and services adopting the resource. But in Koo’s case, we’ll likely have clear indications of when a post is using AI.
“I think people should know when the content was created by AI,” Bidawatka said. So Koo will look for ways to add tags that show when a post was created using ChatGPT.
