It’s not the first time the panel is available to consumers, as Razer has already demonstrated the component in one of its upcoming devices: Razer Blade 15. The gaming notebook, which will be released in the second quarter of 2022, will be equipped with 12th generation Intel processors in addition to the panel.

Samsung’s new QHD OLED display looks set to deliver an excellent gaming experience on gaming laptops, even more so than devices with LCD panels with a 360Hz refresh rate – the screen should also offer HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Razer and Samsung

The Razer Blade 15 is Samsung’s first gaming laptop to date with an OLED QHD display and a 240Hz refresh rate. The device will also be equipped with the powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card to deliver flawless video quality – it will be available in the market for $3,499.99.

The screen of the new Razer product is 15.6 inches and has 100% DCI-P3 color plus 1 ms response time. Currently, most laptops, TVs and monitor screens offer a refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz.
