Galaxy A34 and A54 available in S23 skin starting at R$2,599

Samsung announces the launch of mobile phones this Wednesday (15) Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. They should initially arrive in Europe and Southeast Asia, but should also make their debut in Brazil. One of the highlights is the look, which is quite reminiscent of the Galaxy S23, in addition to the new, more vibrant colors.

Production of new mobile phones suitable for the intermediate market in Manaus and Campinas in Brazil, NFC, 5G SA, Wi-Fi 802.11/ac, Bluetooth 5.3 (LE) and 5,000mAh battery. The devices will come with a charger out of the box, as South Korea has done with its recent releases.

Other highlights include Android 13 out of the box under One UI 5.1, which includes a new Security and Privacy Panel to manage how apps integrate with the phone. It is also worth considering that both models bring IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.

Samsung Galaxy A34

The Galaxy A34 has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U (1080p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 and the device comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage options – there’s even a slot for microSD cards up to 1TB.

There are three cameras on the back of the model, main of 48 MP (f / 1.8) with optical image stabilization (OIS), another 8 MP ultra wide (f/2.2) and 5 MP macro (f/2.4). On the front, there is a 13MP lens (f/2.2).

Again in terms of design both phones have fingerprint reader under the screen and a USB-C port at the bottom. Samsung is launching the Galaxy A34 in lime green, black, purple and silver (mirrored) colors.

Galaxy A34 will be released in April with no specific date. Values ​​starting from 2,599,00 BRL (128GB version) and 2,999.00 BRL (256GB).

Samsung A54

Galaxy A54, the hottest launch of the day, has a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Its processor is an Exynos 1380 and the memory has 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Like the previous model, it has a microSD memory card slot.

As for the camera, the product has a 50 MP main lens (f/1.8), 12 MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2) and 5 MP macro (f/2.4) with optical image stabilization. By the way, those who want to take selfies 32 MP (f/2.2) will be available on the front lens. Like the “brother”, the A54 records videos in 4K and 30fps with the rear lens.
