Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng has tested a flying car.
Four propellers are installed on the body of the car, which lift the car into the air. The takeoff process takes about a minute, and the XPeng flight time is very noisy.
At the moment, the car has problems with vertical takeoff and falling into a waterfall.
The car has four wheels and a conventional body. But the installation with propellers takes up a lot of space. In particular, it adds at least three times the dimensions of XPeng.
So far, this is only a prototype, but the company has already received a patent and will conduct tests. [Gizmochina]
