Following Microsoft’s trend of integrating ChatGPT into its services, LinkedIn started using the natural language model this Wednesday (15). The smart solution has been implemented in the social network to write job postings and professional profiles.
Automation with artificial intelligence (AI) is already used by the platform behind the scenes to operate social networking services. However, LinkedIn is now making the service directly visible and available to recruiters and job seekers.
GTP-4, the most current version of the OpenAI resource, can be used to write professional profiles, while GTP-3.5 identifies open positions. The language model also helps start conversations in people’s news feeds, as well as creating articles.
LinkedIn also bets on the use of algorithms within LinkedIn Learning, which aggregates 100 courses on artificial intelligence. The platform is powered by 20 startups focused solely on productive AI.
How to use ChatGPT on LinkedIn?
For now, turbocharged typing with ChatGPT is only available to Premium users of the platform with subscriptions starting at R$79.90. “By streamlining this part of the hiring process, you can focus your energies on the more strategic aspects of your business,” says Tomer Cohen, LinkedIn’s executive producer.
To use the feature, the user must enter a prompt with some basic information. From there, the AI creates text with fluent narration that reflects the desired tone. Before publishing, the professional or recruiter can review and edit the content.
