Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that Apple is optimizing battery usage in the iPhone 15.

The iPhone 14 currently provides 20W of charging power, while the Pro models are up to 27W. This means they have the ability to charge an iPhone faster, but only if they have the right charger.

According to Kuo, the company will go even further with the new iPhones. Faster charging via USB-C will only be available in firmware and only when assembling certified files. The ShrimpApplePro insider spoke about the same earlier, emphasizing that the cables must be MFI (Made for iPhone) certified.

Yesterday it became known that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a monolithic volume button, and the “rocker” of the silent transformation will be converted into a touch-sensitive touchpad. [9to5]
