HSE professionals want to identify the role of morality in the legal regulation of social relations. To do this, they decided to use a neural network. In addition, scientists have created the “Timeline of Ethics and Law”, which presents the most ethically interesting norms of Russian law for five centuries.
According to Vadim Vinogradov, head of the legislative working group in the field of Internet technologies and digitization of the Civil Chamber of the Russian Federation, professor and dean of the Faculty of Law at the Higher School of Economics, the Ethical Index will be useful not only for legislators, but also for the executive branch. He also noted that the State Duma has already shown interest in the project.
The index will be publicly available and will be available by December 2023.
