One route is to go from Cambridge county seat to the fast-growing university town of Camborne, about 13 kilometers from the capital. However, there is a nuance that causes environmentalists to revolt against a seemingly good project.

The new route will pass through Coton Orchard, also near Cambridge, a high priority designated habitat with around 1,000 trees that produce 26 varieties of apples, plums and pears. And to pave the route you need to cut down 500 adult trees.

The project has already garnered 2,300 signatures, but county councilors voted 26 to 33 in favor of the new bus route.
