Raiffeisenbank is once again increasing the minimum amount of currency transfers for legal entities, writes RBC. Starting April 3, it will be possible to transfer at least $50,000 or 100,000 yuan.

Raiffeisenbank once again raised the minimum amount of currency transfers for legal entities

At the beginning of the month, the bank had already doubled the minimum amount for currency transfers, to $10,000. The financial institution explained the current decision by reinforcing the requirements for checks and payments by correspondent banks.

The changes will affect sole proprietors and individuals in private practice.

Previously, Raiffeisenbank stopped issuing foreign currency at its ATMs. The press service then stated that such a step would increase the availability of ATMs for operations that are most in demand among customers.

Also in January, news broke that the Czech subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International limited outgoing transfers to Russia and Belarus. The organization fears a violation of the EU sanctions policy.
