According to Zhengfei, the company has succeeded in replacing American technology with its Chinese counterparts. For example, over the past three years, Huawei has redesigned 4,000 printed circuit boards for its products.

The top manager added that the production of printed circuit boards is now “stabilized”. All this makes it possible to better understand that the Chinese brand is increasingly coping with the crisis caused by the US sanctions imposed in May 2019.

Huawei’s founder also said that in 2022, the company invested $23.8 billion in research and development. As profitability improves, the company plans to continue to increase spending on these items.
