Reporters said that Cook, speaking at the event, praised the relationship between China and the United States. “Apple and China have grown together and it’s been a symbiotic relationship,” the Apple CEO said during the event.
Cook also talked about Apple’s “very large supply chain in China”, as well as the many Apple Stores and App Store developer ecosystem in the country. The Financial Times adds that the CEO “avoids talking about US-China tensions and supply chain issues.”
