“The use of a reusable box will revolutionize pizza delivery and drastically reduce the amount of waste, but the introduction of such technology will require a lot of work and time,” Dodo Pizza founder Fyodor Ovchinnikov (a well-known social network) wrote on his Instagram. as an extremist in the Russian Federation).

The round pizza wrapper is made of thick food-grade plastic with ventilation holes. According to the company’s website, the choice of material is explained by the fact that it is “perfect for long-term use and less prone to damage” and also absorbs odors from ingredients.

The company points out that a reusable box can replace 500 standard ones. In a similar package, you can order up to five small and medium pizzas to be delivered to a restaurant in Dubai.

Ovchinnikov explains that Dubai has “become a testing ground” as there are “a lot of complexities and details” to consider for mass delivery in reusable boxes.
