On March 27, the North Korean armed forces simulated an airborne nuclear explosion using ballistic missiles launched eastward from the outskirts of Pyongyang.

The simulated target was 500 meters above sea level in the Hamgyongbuk-do area. This came after a similar exercise on March 18-19, during which the DPRK military tested a simulated “nuclear” warhead with a missile and a controlled air explosion.

In addition, note that North Korea has successfully tested its second Heil-1 drone capable of carrying nuclear payloads.

The test of this “strategic underwater weapon” was carried out on March 25-27. The drone was launched in Wonsan Bay and autonomously traveled approximately 600 km in 41 hours 27 minutes off the coast of Hwadae County, Hamgyongbuk-do Province, reaching a set point. The drone also simulated a nuclear explosion, detonating a fake nuclear weapon, creating a “super-strong radioactive tsunami.”
