Threads started getting their first major packages of major updates. The iOS version of the social network got the news this Tuesday (18). translations, tab containing the accounts the user follows — not their posts —signing up for accounts of people you don’t follow, and more.
The announcement was made by Meta engineer Cameron Roth. He said iPhone owners may need to restart the app or wait until the end of the day to receive the update.
Twitter’s rival platform update also includes:
- Improvements to feed scrolling and thread loading;
- Integration to see instagram followers list;
- Icons for the following accounts on response pages;
- Clickable repost buttons;
- Crash and bug fixes.

Will they come to Android?
Roth gave more information about post translation, one of the most requested tools. There will be an icon right next to the replies and likes you have to press to have the message translated into your desired language.
This feature uses the same artificial intelligence system used in Instagram translations. Now, There are no details on when the update will be released for Android devices..
