The host of the YouTube channel PBKreviews evaluated the compact flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 for sustainability. And the phone turned out pretty well.

To replace the screen on the S23, you will need to remove the back panel, unscrew the screws on the bottom of the smartphone, remove the speaker assembly. After that, you will have access to the flex cable for the display. Remove this cable, heat the screen and replace with a new one.

You can easily remove and replace the battery: there is a special “language” for this.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 got a 9 out of 10 for repairability. Of these, 1.5 points out of 2 were for the location of parts and repair time, as well as ease of finding components (excluding display and battery).

The expert rated other Samsung smartphones as 6 points (Galaxy M23 5G), 6.5 points (Galaxy A03), 8 points (Galaxy A73 5G).
