In the demo, the human begins to interact with the holographic AI companion and begins with a polite introduction. He jokes as a rabbit, “What made you jump today?” The protester then asks you to identify and end the song by quoting some of the lyrics. After a short pause, he can reply in a conversational tone that this is a “Talking Heads classic”. This must be the place“. She then reads the next line while the song is playing on a nearby laptop she is presumably connected to.

At first, many people may assume that the holographic AI companion is just another version of smart assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. However, people in the comments on the tweet pointed out that the smart assistants can only provide information and perform tasks when requested. Meanwhile, in addition to completing the tasks that the user requests, Uncle Rabbit can carry on a conversation, as well as learn and improve his own skill set.

Another demo showed a human talking to Uncle Rabbit about carrots, Looking Glass, and what it means to be a holographic AI. At first, Uncle Rabbit thought the Mirror was a mirror, but after some further explanation from the demonstrator, he was able to distinguish the object from the company. Another interesting thing is that the AI expressed its actions, such as “chewing carrots with great enthusiasm.” His “Doc” references were also a clear allusion to Bugs Bunny.
