Huawei’s revenue in 2022 reached 642.3 billion yuan, an increase of 0.9% compared to the previous year. Its net profit for the year was 35.6 billion yuan, down 68.7% from 2021. The pressure of the pandemic comes amid US sanctions, rising commodity prices and R&D spending, and a downturn in the company’s predominantly smartphone consumer business.

But Huawei says US restrictions are now the new normal and the company is back in business as usual.
