The survey was conducted on March 29-30, 2023 among 1600 representatives of the economically active population from all regions of Russia. Most respondents believe that artificial intelligence makes life and work easier and that humans are indispensable. Men and young people are less likely to be less pessimistic about AI than women and the elderly.
Occupations most at risk of replacing robots include translators, travel managers and waiters. The least vulnerable were doctors, builders, and teachers.
In addition to the fact that artificial intelligence will deprive them of their jobs, people fear the uncontrolled and closed development of powerful computer systems and the degradation of humanity.
