Wildberries is testing the video product search results format. The tool will help sellers increase conversion and reduce the rate of product returns by 20-30%. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the company.
Buyers will be able to get to know the products better, for example, to see how this or that equipment works, how it is assembled, disassembled or operated.
The company noted that the type of video itself is up to the sellers, they remove it and attach it to product cards. In addition, the marketplace tool is already working: the buyer selects products with video and they go up in the search results.
While the experiment lasts, the filter is currently available only in the “Garden and cottage” section, where more than 60,000 products are presented. It is planned that the tool will be extended to other sections in the future.
