Tim Cook was interviewed by GQ and featured on the cover of a separate issue of the GQ Global Creativity Awards 2023. In addition to his time as CEO of Apple, Cook spoke about his experiences with augmented and natural reality.
According to him, augmented reality will allow people to “achieve what was previously impossible.”
If you think about augmented reality itself, just take one part of AR/VR, then the idea that you can impose on the physical world of things from the ordinary world can greatly improve people’s communication, their connection.

The Apple CEO also admitted he was wrong when he settled on Google Glass in 2015.
My thinking is always evolving. Steve taught me well: never marry your yesterday’s beliefs. Always, if something new happens, says that you were wrong, admit it and move forward, instead of continuing to balk and say why you are right.
Tim Cook
As he did not disclose plans and did not say anything about Apple augmented reality glasses. It is noted that Apple has a history of success in cases where people were not sure.
Almost everything we’ve ever done has generated a lot of skeptics. If you do something on the edge, it will always have skeptics. Can we somehow observe contributions to what other people don’t? Can we own recovery? I am not interested in collecting fragments of someone else’s material, because we want to control the assimilation of fragments. Because we know that’s how we innovate.
