WhatsApp* messenger may have an additional chat privacy feature. The company is working on introducing a password or fingerprint lock, writes WABetaInfo.
According to the developers, the innovation will provide users with an additional level of security. Therefore, even if strangers can access the device, it will not be possible to read the secure chats.
In this case, the messaging application will track unsuccessful attempts to unlock the secure chat and offer to delete the correspondence to the second user.
Also, the media from these private chats will not be automatically saved to your device.
It was previously reported that the Newsletter feature can appear in the messenger, something like a custom push of specially curated content. The tab will be available in a separate section, separate from private chats.
