WhatsApp has been merged with Instagram and Facebook and sharing can be done simultaneously

After connecting to your meta profile, WhatsApp account can be managed from the company’s Account Center. The tool launched in 2020 as a way to consolidate the company’s services into one place, making it easier to adjust personal preferences across the company’s ecosystem, including Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Quest.

Meta emphasizes that including the WhatsApp account in the Account Center is completely optional. However, this addition requires synchronization of personal preferences and profile details (e.g. profile photo) and Simultaneous publication of Status as Stories on Instagram and Facebook.

When connecting your accounts to the platform, Account Center can also help you recover your WhatsApp profile More simply, Meta claims.

More news will come to Account Center in the future, making the tool even more useful for those who manage WhatsApp there. Planned additions include the ability to manage Meta AI avatars, stickers, and creations in “Imagine-me.”

How to add your WhatsApp to Meta Account Center?

To link your WhatsApp profile to your other Meta accounts, you need to:

1. Open WhatsApp and tap the options menu (indicated by three dots) in the upper right corner;
2. In the menu, navigate to: Settings > Account Center;
3. Select the accounts you want to link;
4. Confirm the profile’s phone number to complete the process.

After that, your WhatsApp profile will be linked to Meta’s other personal accounts.
