Windows 11 is the successor to Windows 10, which is still the market leader today. As of March 2023, Windows 10 is installed on 73.46% of computers running the Microsoft operating system. In third place is Windows 7 with a share of 3.73%, and in fourth and fifth place – Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 with a share of 0.84% and 0.51%, respectively.

Analysts point out that there has been a significant decrease in the shares of Windows 7 and 8.1 in recent months. This is because Microsoft has stopped supporting these OS versions and has stopped issuing security updates for them.
