Short-term car rental service Citydrive has launched an inclusive car-sharing service for people with special needs, the company said.
On specially equipped machines, an additional control unit was installed, which fully duplicates the functions of the pedals, including the automatic transmission shift. Due to this, the driver can only control the car with the help of his hands.
Also, the car will have a lazy handle that allows you to hold the steering wheel with one hand, and special devices to make it easier for the driver to switch from a wheelchair to the wheel.
It is noted that the cars use certified equipment from a Russian manufacturer, so the service can quickly carry out maintenance.
You must request the included carsharing service no later than 4 hours before the trip through the official website of the service. After that, the operator will contact the user, confirm the order, and within the specified time the car will be delivered to the desired address.
The driver will also be met by a company technician who, if necessary, will help him get behind the wheel, show the equipment and answer questions.

For inclusive carsharing users, rates are available from 2 hours to 7 days, the rental price will not differ from the standard service rates. You can complete the rental and park your car in any open parking lot in the city, excluding parking spaces for people with disabilities.
