Since April 13, Ozon closes the service with the sale of discounted and used goods from individuals. “Ads” worked for less than a year in test mode in various regions of Russia.
The Ozon marketplace announced the closure of the “Ads” service effective April 13. In it, sellers and people registered on the platform could sell used, discounted and new products.
Ozon said teams working on the service will develop other projects, including a platform for vendor delivery of goods.
“This will help attract more entrepreneurs to the platform and expand the range,” Ozon said.
“Ads” worked for eight months in test mode in the Rostov and Voronezh regions and the Stavropol Territory. Up to 60% of the audience used the service, users posted ads for the sale of 145,000 products, Ozon reported.
