This was influenced by the sale of entrepreneurial goods, which grew almost 2.2 times, as well as a 50% increase in the number of orders, to 465 million.
At the end of 2022, the number of active buyers reached 35.2 million people, almost 10 million people more than at the end of 2021.
Order frequency increased by 52% to 13.2 orders per year per customer. This means that Ozon users place more than one order per month on the site.
In 2022, Ozon also increased its active seller base 2.5 times to over 230,000.
The company’s revenue last year grew by 55% year-on-year and amounted to 277 billion rubles. The growth of the indicator was influenced by income from services, which increased 2.5 times due to the increase in the number of transactions and deliveries of goods from sellers.
Advertising revenue also tripled, driven by an increase in the number of sellers on the site, as well as the flow of advertising investments to the market against the background of a reduction in advertising sites in the Russian Federation in 2022.
