The engine of the LADA Niva Legend series was replaced by a modified 1.6-liter 16-valve unit. Due to the replacement, it was possible to increase the power by 30%. The engine and transmission cooling systems have also been updated. In addition, they increased the strength of the suspension parts and further increased the wheel travel.
The fuel bank was increased to 180 liters. At the same time, the weight of the car decreased by 50 kg.
The Russian circuit racing series, in which these cars will participate, starts in Sochi from April 21-23. Later, from May 5 to 7, the first stage of the Championship of the Russian Championship will take place in the Chechen Republic. niva will take part in the Archeda rally in the Volgograd region.
