These stabilizers allow the lens or sensor to move freely within the body to compensate for unwanted movement when shooting stills or video.
It is these microscopic movements that make a clicking sound when shaking the smartphone. This is normal and does not indicate that the camera or other device components are loose or damaged.
The issue has been seen on several Android smartphone models, including the flagship Pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy S23. Romero has made sure that this won’t affect the camera quality or other functions of the device, but it’s still not worth the shake once again.
